Aubrey

Our Angel Forever

Aubrey was a very happy baby—the most amazing little girl. Always smiling, and she loved to eat. She would roam the kitchen and just point to the pantry. Most of all, she loved to run around giving hugs and kisses, and she loved her big sister Olivia very much.

In 2020, during the early days of lockdown when everyone was still adjusting to working from home, our family experienced the worst tragedy anyone can: the loss of our beautiful 16 month old daughter.

Until this happened, we had no idea that drowning was the leading cause of death for children between the ages of 1 and 4. We want to educate people, but we also want Smile Like Aubrey to be a celebration of her life. We want to do our best to prevent this tragedy from happening to another family.

Why This Mission

We don’t want any other family to have to go through what we have. What makes the most sense for us in the wake of this tragedy is to know that we can help somebody else.

Our Goal

To give parents and kids another layer of protection. If your child ever makes their way outside into a pool, it gives them a chance. Aubrey didn’t have that chance.

In Celebration

We hope that by helping to prevent this from happening to other families, we can celebrate Aubrey’s life and pay her legacy forward.
